Michigan Wine Country!
For the wine lovers attending ACCF, we have the support of Chateau Chantal in Traverse City. Chateau Chantal has supported us from the beginning by donating a VIP tasting for 6 of the winery and tasting room. I've personally been on this tour and it's fantastic! You get a great look behind-the-scenes at how the wine is made, bottled, etc. And, of course, you get to taste their delish wines paired with cheese and fruit. This is a great auction for anyone wanting to explore Michigan wine country. There are quite a few wineries in the area and you could make a day or weekend out of it.

No matter how you pronounce it...
the use is still the same...for keeping your beverages (many times "adult" beverages!) cold!
You say koō-zie, I say cosy. (I suspect a debate will begin now on the "correct" spelling!)
Everyone will say GO BLUE tailgating with these bottle and can jackets. Don't worry State fans...we have a green and white option for you too.
*update: please note that while these may keep your beverages cool, the main purpose is to soak up the condensation.

It's a small, small world!
Imagine my surprise when an Etsy seller and I realized we had something in common - ROBYN!
I reached out to Angie with corkandbirchmaps on Etsy when I saw her map prints of the state of Michigan. She agreed to donate to ACCF and mentioned she had known someone with CF years ago at music camp.
Through our emails, we realized her friend and my sister were one-in-the-same!!
Angie even had a photo of Robyn she shared with me (she must be one VERY organized person to be able to pull out a photo from junior high out-of-the-blue!).
This connection made her donation even sweeter.
Thank you, Angie!
*Please note that the donation will be a variation of the image above. Frame not included.

Donor that was featured on Skull-A-Day!
Local artist, Nicole Pangas, creates fun skull tumblers, mugs, and steins on her etsy site. I love that she was also featured on Skull-A-Day! I thought this was the perfect post for Friday the 13th!
People are going to have to arm wrestle me for all the cool loot we have this year! I'm planning on bidding on a bunch! Friendly competition anyone?

An artist that has been with us since the beginning
is Denise Rohde! Denise is a joy to be around and has supported us from the get go. We originally met in 2007 before our inaugural ACCF event from a call to artists we had submitted on craigslist. We are very proud to have highlighted Denise's work annually in our auction. She has highlighted many Ann Arbor landmarks in her art over the years and they always get a lot of attention. This year's submission will not disappoint! Thank you Denise!!

No greenthumb needed for these garden submissions!
Kersten Fuith of PoFu, a local potter in our area, has donated some wonderful garden items for our auction next week! A big congrats to Kersten as she was a featured seller on etsy this week!
I was drawn to her etsy site and was in awe of her toad houses! They just spoke to me! I envisioned one at my house and thought that some of our guests for ACCF would adore them just as much.

Thankful for lovely donors to our cause!
Last night I had the privilege of meeting Pam of Art of Being Pamela as I picked-up her kind donations for our auction. What a sweet, sweet lady that I am so thankful found us on a craigslist post for donors. Her work is beautiful and her energy was infectious! I left her house feeling so great about all of our kind donors and their efforts to help us fight the fight against cystic fibrosis in my sister's memory. THANK YOU Pam and all of our cherished donors!
